It's very rare that you meet people in life that leave a lasting impression. People come and people go. Ali had an unforgettable style. We had good times and we had bad times... but I'm positive the good outweighed the bad.

Sometimes we didn't see each other or speak for long periods of time....3 or six months. Whenever we finally saw each other it was as if we had seen each other the day before. At the end of the day and through it all we were still brothers and I'm going to truly miss him, his talent and his style.

I'm going to miss the many laughs and good times we shared. Sometimes he'd call and say "TY...Let's go past the club.... TY let's go get some lunch.... or TY...I'm coming by for some salmon croquettes".

Now I realize there have been times when he was really under the weather but he still always smiled and he was ALWAYS ready to sing. Sometimes we would be hanging out at a club and I'd watch him charismatically end up turning the place out putting on a show...when we had only been there to hang out.

Everybody's dream doesn't come true...but his dream came true when he was born. He was born to sing. He lived his dream. He was definitely one of the best singers to ever grace the stage and most of all once a Temptation...always a Temptation.... He is definitely a TEMPTATION for life. As in golf you get the green jacket....in the Temptations He has worn the Temptations SUIT. That is our badge of honor.

So my brother Ali.... be well... and know that you were loved by people all over the world. The world was your stage and you did it with great style and showmanship.

You've been called home...and I know you'll have the best care and there will be plenty of people there to wrap their arms around you and embrace you. Farewell my brother

All I can say is..... Ali Woodson - Job Well Done!

Love always.... Tyson..........

WHITNEY HOUSTON'S latest album includes a song called "Million Dollar Bill". This song features a generous sample from LOLEATTA HOLLOWAY'S Salsoul classic "We're Getting Stronger", co-written by RON TYSON!

"First tenor of The Temptations steps out on a stellar solo CD, "Recipe 4 Love"; his voice has been on such number one hits as "Stay" and "Treat Her Like A Lady", and his songwriting talents on the number hit hit by WHITNEY HOUSTON "Million Dollar Bill"...........this recording showcases both gifts, as it includes some future classics along with a guest artist duet with legendary soul diva FRDA PAYNE. Ron collaborates with the CD's producer, award-winner PRESTON GLASS, along with having 2 new songs contributed by hitmaking writer Vinnie Barrett (whose credits include "Love Won't Let Me Wait"; "Sideshow" & "Just Don't Want To Be Lonely"). This is truly a Recipe 4 Love, and a concoction for a fantastic CD!
